ТЕХНИЧЕСКИЕ ВОПРОСЫ ПО THE SIMS 2 И АДДОНАМ

Не знаю в какую тему задать вопрос :
У меня некоторые симы иногда становятся Неподвижными и ромб над ними мигагает. ЧТО ДЕЛАТЬ ?

Пожалуйста! Подскажите, как правильно установить скачанные ландшафты? Инструкция на английском и очень трудно понять до конца!

что подразумевается под ландшафтами? города, участки, покрытия для земли?

Новые города

надо положить их в папку Мои документы\EA Games\The Sims 2\SC4Terrains, а если они в формате .sims2Pack - просто запустить файл.

Я так и сделала! Но в инструкции пишется, что надо еще что-то сделать в папке Neighborhoods, да к тому же игра при попытке создать новый город стала вылетать! Это как-то связано?

Я скачала с сайта файлы с городами и к ним прилагается инструкция по установке на английском языке, называется "To Install Pre-made Neighborhood" и состоит аж из 13 пунктов!

To Install Pre-made Neighborhood:
OK, I realize, these instructions LOOK very long and complicated. They really are not!! But since I do not know the knowledge level of everyone who downloads this neighborhood, I wanted to spell out even the most simple steps in this process. This neighborhood has over 80 viable building spots, some you will have to look for, but they are worth it!!!!
1.Un-Zip downloaded file. You will have a folder called "GreenGate", open that.
2.Right click on an empty space, hit "view" and then "thumbnails"...make note of what this terrain looks like in the pictures.
3.Right click on file called, "City-Peacable Kingdom.sc4" and hit "copy", leave that folder open.
4.Open "My Documents" > "EAgames" > "Sims2" > and then, "SC4Terrains". Right click on an empty space and hit "paste". If you don't have a Paste command in that menu, then hit the "Edit" button at the top of your screen and click on "Paste" there.
5.Go back to the "GreenGate" folder, copy the file called "City-PeacableKingdom.png". Paste that in the same ""SC4Terrains" folder.
6. Close the "SCTerrains" folder and start your Sims2 game.
7. Once loaded, scroll all the way to the right and click on the "make new neighborhood" button. When the list comes up to choose a Terrain, scroll down and click on the "Peacable Kingdom" choice. Name your new neighborhood and name it, "Greengate". Once your new neighborhood loads...don't do anything, just save and exit the game. This is the "neighborhood without any decorations or props added.
8.Go back to "My Documents">"EAGames">"Sims2". Only this time open the "Neighborhoods" folder. In here are all the neighborhoods you have already made. If you have never made and then deleted a neighborhood, then the one you just made will be the one with the highest number, like "N008" or "N006". If you have previously made a neighborhood and then deleted it, your Sims2 game will have put yolur new neighborhood in one of those empty slots, so it will be out of sequence. To find the neighborhood you just made, open each folder until you find the picture of the terrain you memorized in step 2. THAT will be your new neighborhood.Leave this folder open.
9.In there there will be some folders and two files that are not in a folder. Those two files, "N00?_Neighborhood" (the ? will be the number of this neighborhood)...we need to overight those two files. Find the one that says "DBPF package" under it. Right click on that and hit "rename". Hold down your left mouse button and drag acrost the name to highlight it. While still holding down the right mouse button, right click again, and hit "copy"
10. Go to your open "GreenGate" folder that you un-zipped in step 1. Find the "Noo8_Neighborhood" DBPF file, (NOT the .PNG file). Right click on that DBPF file, hit "rename" and paste the name you just copied in step 9 in there. Click off on blank space and go back to that same file and right click again.Scroll down and hit "Copy".
11.Go back to your new neighborhood folder you left open in step 8..and paste this file in there. A window will pop-up asking you if you want to replace the existing file with that name. Click, "YES".
12.Repeat step 9, 10, and 11...only this time instead of the DBPF file, you want to copy the "N00?_Neighborhood.PNG" image file.
13. Once you have renamed and copied the two files and pasted them in the folder of your new neighborhood, you are done!!! Close everything, start yourgame, and scroll to the picture of "GreenGate"!

в этой инструкции, помимо самой установки, еще описано, как в это новое соседство поставить картинку, я так поняла. вместо той сетки, что там обычно бывает, когда создаешь новый город. а так все то же самое - найдите там в скачанном архиве файл .sc4 и положите его, куда я сказала.

Подскажите пожалуйста, может ли глючить содержимое папки LOT CATALOG? Я скачала новые дома с расширением .Sims2Pack, все установилось, но теперь в режиме соседства игра вылетает каждые 30-40 минут!

может, но не само содержимое lotcatalog, а то, что вы скачали вместе с домами. проверяйте папку downloads.

Вставляю установочный диск с игрой и ничего не проиходит
Устанавливала на один и тот же компьютер раз пять, так как места мало удаляла когда надоедало играть
Сейчас опять решила установить и вот такая проблема
В диспетчере процесс setup появляется и через пару секунд исчезает
